Tyler Higbee is officially back in practice for the first time since tearing his ACL and MCL in January against the Detroit Lions. The Los Angeles Rams announced Wednesday that Higbee is working out and scheduled to return from the PUP list.
He missed the first 11 games of the season and while he's close to returning, Sean McVay said Tuesday that Higbee likely won't play against the New Orleans Saints this week. He still needs more time to acclimatize after missing about ten months of work in the field.
While Higbee was out, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen and Hunter Long all filled in at tight end, although the Rams couldn't get much production from any of them.

It remains unclear when Higbee will be able to make his season debut, but he's obviously getting closer and returning to practice is a big step for the tight end.
