rookie defensive lineman Darrius Robinson has yet to play in a regular season game for the Arizona Cardinals since they selected him 27th overall in the 2024 NFL draft. The former Missouri Tiger suffered an ankle injury in the preseason that sidelined him all season – until now.
recently told reporters that Robinson was on track to play in Minnesota this weekend. Arizona had hoped Robinson would play last weekend against the Seahawks, but he was ultimately ruled out.
“Yes, we will take it day by day. But yeah, he's on track to play,” Jonathan Gannon told reporters when asked if Robinson was OK for the week.
Robinson also spoke to reporters and appeared to be in good spirits about taking the field on the horizon.
“Do great. There have been a lot of ups and downs, but I just pray about it. I have great teammates who support me. All in Mr. Bidwill's Cardinals, Monti [Ossenfort]JG [Jonathan Gannon]my coach, everyone has done everything they can to support me and I'm just so grateful to them,” he said
