AEW Dynamite ratings up for Kenny Omega return

Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite an average of 615,000 viewers on TBS, up 4.6 percent from last week. This is the show's largest viewership since December 18th and the second largest number for Dynamite since November 20th.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite ranked sixth on the primetime cable charts with a 0.17 rating. That's up 6.3 percent from last week, but the second-worst rating the show has received in this category since November 27th.

These numbers do not include data from the simulcast of Dynamite on Max.

The show went head-to-head with one of the biggest NBA regular season games of the year between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers, with 1.87 million total viewers and a 0.59 rating in the 18th season -49 demo topped the cable charts. Cable coverage of the Southern California wildfires also resulted in these networks having more viewers than normal.

Compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite's total viewership fell by 22.8 percent, while the 18-49 age rating fell by 41.4 percent, meaning the viewership was significantly older. This could be evidence that the Max simulcast is attracting younger viewers to the streaming app.

Below are the last 11 weeks of viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite on TBS, along with the 10-week average in both categories. Total viewership for this week's show increased 3.2 percent compared to the recent average, but ratings among 18- to 49-year-olds fell 5.6 percent.
