I know it’s not a bodybuilding contest, but I’d honestly think at 237 Jon would look a lot better than that. Maybe it’s age catching up, but considering he’d be fairly lean at 205 (meaning he’d probably weigh over 220 at least fight night) it seems none of his extra weight is of any quality.

The fight that should have been scheduled is Jones v. Aspinall. (My guess is that Jones, at his age and dealing with other issues, didn’t want that card.)
The fight, as scheduled, is more for publicity than anything else. Certainly not a championship competition to determine the greatest current heavyweight mma fighter.
