The Green Bay Packers used a special team trick to secure an early lead, another touchdown run and over 100 total yards from running back Josh Jacobs and two touchdown passes from Jordan Love to Jayden Reed to beat the Miami Dolphins beat 30-17 at Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving evening.
The Packers took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and 24-7 at halftime. The Dolphins were dangerous at times in the second half, but a big fourth-down stop in the fourth quarter helped the Packers maintain a two-point lead from the end of the first quarter until the end of the contest.
Love completed 21 of 28 passes and had no turnovers. Jacobs had another 1-yard rushing touchdown and 74 receiving yards. The Packers' defense produced five sacks.
The 30-17 win improved the Packers to 9-3 after 12 games. Matt LaFleur's team has won seven of its last eight games.
