The Champions Trophy 2025 is around the corner, the marquee tournament is set to take place in Pakistan and as always with tournaments in Pakistan, the Indian team's journey is in doubt. Recent reports suggest that the BCCI has refused to travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
In view of the BCCI's refusal to travel to Pakistan, the PCB (Pakistan cricket Board) has decided to write to the ICC in this regard after completing its legal deliberations.
It is worth noting that the Federal Government has provided the India Policy Guidelines to the PCB, which will serve to provide more clarity on the situation. Interestingly, it was the ICC that informed the PCB about India's situation and refusal to travel to Pakistan.
There were reports that the government officials who had given the direction to the PCB should involve other bodies in the matter. It is worth noting that Pakistan has always managed to travel to India whenever the opportunity arose and the Indian team has no moral or legal reason not to make the trip to Pakistan.

A knowledgeable source recently came forward and spoke about how Pakistan traveled to India for the 2023 ODI World Cup despite the political tension between the two countries and that India should do the same.
“We traveled to India in 2023 despite the hostility and volatile environment with the understanding that if we traveled to India for the World Cup, India would come to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. There was no resistance then, but today these excuses no longer stand,” a PCB official was quoted as saying by Wion.
“We also sent our team to India in 2016 and had developed the hybrid format of the Asia Cup to accommodate India,” the official added.
