Lionel Messi and Co. were big favorites in the best-of-three series with the Five Stripes, but after a win apiece in the first two games, it came down to a decisive third game in Miami.
The Herons got off to a great start in the first 20 minutes when MatĂas Rojas shot home from close range to give the hosts the lead.
And although this initially caused problems for the underdogs from Atlanta, the guests reacted brilliantly and scored two goals within two minutes after Miami's opening game and thus took a surprising lead.
Jamal Thiaré scored both goals on the counterattack and stunned the home crowd.
But just when you thought the drama would stop there, just two minutes later Miami thought they had an equalizer, but a Luis Suárez goal was ruled offside.
Buckle up, people. A special night awaits us in Miami!
