Sebastian Vettel was the first winner at the Yas Marina circuit. This victory allows him to become vice-world champion, overtaking Rubens Barrichello.

2010: Sébastien Vettel (Red Bull-Renault RB6)

If the victory in 2009 earned him the status of runner-up, thanks to the victory obtained in 2010, Vettel became world champion for the first time by beating Fernando Alonso in the last race of the year.

Raikkonen scored a victory again on his return to F1 with Lotus in a controversial race in which Vettel reached the podium starting from the pit lane after a penalty.

Vettel beat his teammate Mark Webber, who had taken pole the day before. The German had managed to win his third world championship title during the race organized in India two weeks earlier.

2014: Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes F1 W05 hybrid)

Hamilton sealed his second world championship, first with Mercedes in his second victory at Yas Marina. Rosberg, who had taken pole, had power problems with his engine and finished the Grand Prix in fourteenth position.

2015: Nico Rosberg (Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid)

With the world championship already decided in favor of teammate Lewis Hamilton, Rosberg won the race, joining the list of winners in Abu Dhabi alongside Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

2016: Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes F1 W07 hybrid)

Hamilton's victory didn't mean much to him. He did his job, but his teammate Rosberg, the world championship leader, did his, finishing second and winning the world championship. The Briton, as can be seen in the photo, slowed the pace so that Vettel, third with Ferrari, overtook Nico, but that did not happen.

2017: Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes AMG F1 W08)

As happened in 2015, Hamilton arrived in Abu Dhabi with the world championship in his pocket, and his teammate was the big winner in the final weekend of the year. Bottas took pole and victory at Yas Marina.

The Briton rounded off an excellent season in style, taking his 11th victory of the year, equaling his best records and with the quintuple championship under his belt.
