The Cincinnati Bengals Losing BJ Hill in free agency in 2025 is an issue that in the last few weeks.
And it's not hard to understand why. As the season progressed, it became increasingly clear that the team needed to invest a lot of money into fixing problem areas like the secondary and pass rush – in addition to a big extension for Ja'Marr Chase and other things.
As such, has predicted Hill could join the Dallas Cowboys on the open market:
The seven-year pro received above-average grades from Pro Football Focus for his run defense and pass rush. Through Week 9 of 2024, he has posted a score of 68.3 as a run and 73.1 as a pass rusher.
As we point out every time, the Bengals at least partially planned this with rookies Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson.
But it's a stress point for fans, considering younger people haven't really been able to step into bigger roles lately. Dax Hill didn't make it to safety and that It was breathtaking to watch in real time.
The Bengals could end up going interior with youth and let Hill run, for better or worse. Dallas would actually be one of the teams interested on the open market.
