The Detroit Lions have tweaked their 53-man roster ahead of their Week 11 game against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars. On Saturday, the Lions signed a player from the team's practice squad and brought in another for Sunday's game.
The Lions signed linebacker Ezekiel Turner from the practice squad. Detroit had a roster opening after LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin was placed on IR before Week 10. Like Reeves-Maybin, Turner is a special teams supporter.
With starting TE Sam LaPorta out for Week 11, the Lions also signed veteran James Mitchell from the practice squad to solidify the tight end depth chart. Mitchell was on the practice squad all season.
