The Lions experienced some injury concerns in their 24-6 win over the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday. One of the biggest scares came from Taylor Decker, who started at left tackle.
Decker was rushed during a play that sacked QB Jared Goff (not Decker's fault). He slowly left the field after being attended to by trainers and then received frequent treatment on the sidelines in Detroit.
Decker came back into the game after a series. After the game, the veteran tackle and team leader gave an optimistic update on his physical condition.
“I didn't even watch the game, I just felt like I was murdered when someone hit me in the back of the legs,” Decker said, via Justin Rogers of the Detroit Football Network. “A little MCL, a little ankle. It was the ankle I injured last year. I don't know if that's good or bad. It's not big. I think I'll be fine. I’m just a little sore, more than anything.”
With the Lions playing the Chicago Bears on a short week and kickoff on Thanksgiving at 12:30 p.m., it's harder to predict Decker's availability for Week 13.
