The New York Giants will play an international game against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday in Munich, Germany.
Heading into the Week 10 contest, the Giants snapped a streak of 24 straight games and were listed as underdogs.
The Panthers picked up their second win of the season in Week 9, ending a five-game losing streak. On the Giants' side, they will try to end their four-game losing streak on Sunday.
Here are three reasons for optimism ahead of the Week 10 matchup.

International winning streak
The Giants have been very good in the games they have played across the pond. They played against the Miami Dolphins in 2007, against the Los Angeles Rams in 2016 and most recently against the Green Bay Packers in 2022 and won them all. The Giants hope to move to 4-0 in their international games against the Panthers on Sunday.

I'm picking up speed again before the bye week
The Giants have been very good throughout team history, including in the games leading up to the bye week. Believe it or not, Big Blue is 23-12 in games heading into a bye week, tied for the fourth-best record in such games in NFL history.

Brian Burns plays against his former team
Arguably the Giants' biggest move of the offseason was bringing in Brian Burns and signing him to a big contract. Burns will face the team that first drafted him on Sunday. He will certainly have a bit more motivation before the game, even if he tries to play it down.
