David Benavidez has given Mike Tyson some straight advice following his loss to Jake Paul last weekend.
Benavidez was one of the millions around the world who watched Paul effortlessly outbox a very faded Tyson and score big unanimous decision win.
At 58 years old: “Iron Mike” looked like a shell of the man who ruled the heavyweight division in his prime, and some observers even believe he was carried by the YouTuber and could have been stopped at any time.
Although the two only competed over two-minute rounds, the fight was fully sanctioned and will take place on both records.
It was Tyson's first professional fight since his loss to Kevin McBride in 2005 – and Benavidez told it Fight Hub TV it would be his last.
“He needs to retire.”
Upon further analysis, “The Mexican Monster” stated that he was simply relieved that the former heavyweight king left the ring uninjured.
“It was a good fight and a good turnout, but I don't want Mike Tyson to stop fighting. Hopefully he puts it on.

“It was a good show and Mike Tyson went in there and made a good paycheck and he deserved that. I'm just glad he didn't get hurt there.
“Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson, but a 60-year-old Mike Tyson is different.”
In his post-fight interview, Tyson seemed interested in a fight with Jake's brother Logan, but has since claimed on social media that he will not be returning to the ring.
The show reportedly attracted around 108 million viewers on Netflix, making it by far the most-watched boxing event in recent memory.
Tyson earned an estimated $20 million, while The Problem Child probably earned about double that.
Benavidez was speaking at the opening press conference for his February 1 clash with David Morrell, which is widely expected to be one of the toughest of his career.
