Eddie Hearn admits he would relish the prospect of seeing Anthony Joshua fight Jake Paul.

Hearn was there to see Paul defeat former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson by points in Texasas well as seeing his protégé Katie Taylor defeat Amanda Serrano in their rematch on the undercard.

The 27-year-old, who made his heavyweight debut, has since been the subject of shocking comments from undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and IBF heavyweight titleholder Daniel Dubois.

And Hearn, Joshua's long-time supporter, says he would like to see the Watford man take on the YouTuber boxer but admits 'AJ', who is coming off a fifth-round stoppage defeat, is up against him Dubois probably wouldn't accept a mission.

When asked what he would do if Paul called out Joshua, Hearn responded IFLTV: “I would go to AJ and ask, 'Do you want to do this?'.”

“I would like to see AJ fight Jake Paul.”

A reports 60 million households tuned in to Netflix to witness the fight between Paul and Tyson, where the latter ended his almost 20-year professional retirement at AT&T Stadium.

Paul, who secured his eleventh professional win and his fifth since a single professional loss Tommy FuryHe remained cautious about his next opponent, but remained linked to both Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez.

Alvarez has consistently rejected a showdown with The Problem Child, but the Mexican star told the media in May that he was open to discussing a possible clash in two years.

Hearn, who has promoted three of Alvarez's last six outings, believes Paul would have no chance of causing a major upset if they fought.

“Canelo makes it very clear,” the Matchroom boss added.

“It’s all about the money and the deal and whether he’s going to make the money he would for the fight.” [David] Benavidez or [Dmitry] Bivol and it would be more than that, why wouldn't he?

“I don't know Jake, but I feel like he's competitive enough that one day I'll say, 'Fuck, let me give him a try.'”

“He has to be smart enough to know that Canelo Alvarez is absolutely destroying him, but I would like to see it.”
