Jake Paul says Tommy Fury is the hardest puncher he has ever faced, despite having just fought Mike Tyson.

Paul secured his fifth consecutive win since a only professional loss to Fury as he highlighted Former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson over eight rounds in Texas on Friday.

Much of the intrigue leading up to the showdown centered on whether the 58-year-old Tyson, returning from a 20-year professional retirement, could deliver one of his trademark punches to undo the YouTuber-turned-boxer's progress .

But the truth is, “Iron Mike” was never able to muster the impressive strength that made him the youngest heavyweight champion of all time.

Paul admits that Fury was actually the hardest puncher he has ever faced, compared to the aforementioned Tyson, who he faced in his first heavyweight fight.

“I would say Tommy Fury,” Paul replied when asked who was the hardest puncher he had faced BS with Jake Paul.

“It's the shots you don't see, so Tommy was a bit tricky.

“What I mean by that is: If you see the blow coming, you can prepare for it.

“So if you walk into something and you can’t see it and then all of a sudden you get hit, it hurts.”

“Tommy was more difficult, but I could imagine Mike’s punches.”

“He was strong, but he didn’t land anything clean.

“So I honestly didn’t feel the full power of Mike Tyson, but that’s good, you don’t want that.”

“So I just moved, stayed out of reach, and the only thing he could kind of land was this hook, but I just kept my hand on the phone.”

Fury will make his own ring return on January 18th when he faces former UFC star, Darren Till in Manchester.

The 25-year-old says he wasn't surprised the Ohio man didn't give his name after the fight and insists he had no chance of beating him in a rematch.

“He won't mention it,” Fury said Pro boxing fans on Tuesday.

“[He says] “Oh, I do boxing, I’m the king of it.”

“You’re not a buddy.

“You faced a boxer your age and a rookie and got beaten.

“He was actually easily beaten because if you look at the opposition it was a completely unanimous decision.

“I passed him every lap and I think because I slipped on the eighth lap that’s the only big claim he has.”

“He won’t mention my name.

“Jake Paul will never be able to beat me.”
