After months of anticipation and preparation, Jake Paul defeated the completely faded Mike Tyson by unanimous decision at AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Tens of millions of people will have tuned in to see Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) take on Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs), and there was a degree of curiosity as to whether the 58-year-old New yorker could summoning enough fire to anger the brash YouTuber.

However, this was not the case as “Iron Mike” looked very similar to his age and was unable to close the gap on the Ohio native, who was able to keep him at bay with his faster feet and longer jab.

Aside from a lively first round, Tyson had little to no success in the fight and it looked like “The Problem Child” could have provided the stoppage at any time from round three onwards.

Luckily, he seemed unwilling to pursue the target, whether to show mercy to the exhausted legend facing him or because he feared being caught by a return shot on the way there.

When the final bell rang, there was no doubt which hand would be raised and which three judges would be present at ringside declared Paul the big winner.

Taylor gets the nod over Serrano

Following their epic battle at Madison Square Garden in 2022Katie Taylor (24-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs) delivered another classic in the co-main event.

Serrano appeared to be on the rise until she suffered a brutal cut on her eyebrow just before halftime, which could potentially lead the fight to a disappointing early finish.

However, the doctor let her continue and the Puerto Rican showed great courage to see the final bell and had more than her fair share of success.

There were audible boos when a unanimous decision was announced for Taylor, and many observers felt the challenger had done enough – particularly given a points deduction for the Irishwoman in the eighth round.

Nothing that could divide Barrios and Ramos

Defending champions Mario Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) and Abel Ramos Jr. (28-6-3, 22 KOs) put in outstanding performances in a welterweight world title fight that was as bloody as it was entertaining.

Both men fell to the ground and were seriously injured, but they struggled to hear the final bell, leaving the decision to the three referees at ringside – who were unable to separate them. A split draw has been announced, meaning the title remains with Barrios, but an immediate rematch seems inevitable.

Indian favorite Neeraj Goyat (19-4-2, 8 KOs) proved to be the equal of Brazilian influencer Whindersson Nunes (0-1) as he clearly outclassed him in six rounds.

Shadasia Green (15-1, 11 KOs) and Melinda Watpool (7-1, 2 KOs) fought for the world super middleweight championship, with the former looking for a narrow victory.

Lucas Bahdi (18-0, 15 KOs) found himself in a tougher fight than advertised with Italian lightweight champion Armando Casamonica (14-1, 3 KOs), but managed enough to escape with a majority decision victory.

In the opener of the show, Bruce Carrington (14-0, 8 KOs) won a points victory against Dana Coolwell (13-3, 8 KOs) in the featherweight division.
