: Be it cricket or any other sport, athletes are sometimes caught hiding their age. Former Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has admitted to concealing his age while Nitish Rana faced suspension from the BCCI for concealing his age.

But Shubman Gill is now also in the headlines for the same reason. In fact, a post is going viral on social media in which Shubman Gill and his sister Shahneel Gill's birthdays are just three months apart.

The Prince of Indian cricket Shubman Gill is currently one of the best cricketers in the country and was born on September 8, 1999 in Fazilka district of Punjab. Shubman also has a sister named Shahneel Gill who is active on social media and is constantly in the news. From the viral post, Shahneel Gill was born on December 16, 1999.

If you look at the birthdays of the two siblings, the difference is only 3 months. In such a situation, Indian cricketers are accused of cheating by changing their age.

What is the truth?

Such posts have gone viral before, but Gujarat Titans shared a video on Instagram almost a year ago on the occasion of Rakhi. In this video clip, the sisters of the players who played for Gujarat expressed their love for their brothers. In the same video, Shahneel Gill revealed that there is a two and a half year age difference between him and Shubman.

In this video, Shahneel Gill says, “In our childhood, we were each other’s best friends. We always hung out together, but when Shubman started going to games and was out of the house most of the time, it was difficult for me to hang out as I didn't have many friends as our age difference was only two and a half years. I was very shy as a child, while Shubman used to be very mischievous.
