Ravi Ashwin joins forces with MS Dhoni in the CSK camp
Ravichandran Ashwin, who started his career with the Dhoni-led side, Chennai's homegrown boy Ash Anna, is now back in the capital of Tamil Nadu. After being dropped by the Chennai Super Kings, Ashwin played for the Punjab Kings and then moved to the Delhi Capitals, while his last three seasons since 2022 were with the Rajasthan Royals.
This time Ashwin seemed to be a solid choice for Chennai Super Kings as he came on straight away without CSK nodding off. Ashwin and Chidambaram Stadium often form the deadliest spin-happy combination in the IPL. Finally, CSK picked him up for INR 9.75 crore.
