I dont speak to him

Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh recently revealed that he has not spoken to legendary captain MS Dhoni for over 10 years. The players, who were key members of the Indian team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup, shared some memorable moments on the field. During these tournaments, Harbhajan picked 7 and 9 wickets respectively.

During Harbhajan's stint with the Chennai Super Kings between 2018 and 2020, her interactions remained strictly professional. Even during this period, their conversations were limited to the cricket ground and there were no personal interactions outside the boundary lines.

“No, I am not talking to Dhoni. When I played for CSK we chatted but other than that we didn't speak. It's been 10 years or more. I have no reason; maybe he does. I don’t.” I don’t know what the reasons are. When we played at CSK in the IPL, we chatted and that too was limited to the ground. After that, he didn’t come to my room and neither did I,” Harbhajan Singh told News18.

I have nothing against him: Harbhajan Singh

The last time Harbhajan and Dhoni represented India together was in 2015 during an ODI against South Africa. After the 2015 World Cup, Harbhajan was left out of the national team and eventually announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2021.

“I have nothing against him. If he has something to say, he can tell me. But if he had, he would have told me by now. I never tried to call him because I have a great passion. I only call those who answer my calls. Otherwise, I stay in touch with those I'm friends with. If I respect you, I hope to return. Or you answer me if I call you once “If I answer twice and don't get an answer, I'll probably only meet with you as many times as necessary,” the weirdo added.

Both players have played a combined 210 international matches, including 49 Tests, 135 ODIs and 26 T20Is. The veterans wore the yellow jersey a total of 46 times for CSK and were part of the 2018 IPL winning team.
