Young Indian pacer Yash Dayal has been criticized by fans online for his recent Instagram story about former India captain MS Dhoni. It is worth mentioning that Yash Dayal was acquired from Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the new season of IPL in 2025.
Yash Dayal was on cloud nine in IPL 2024 after bowling a crucial over against Chennai Super Kings' MS Dhoni, playing a big role in the team's elimination from the tournament. Dayal was given the task of defending 17 runs in an over with Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni at the wicket.
On the first ball of the over, Dhoni hit Dayal for a six. However, the 26-year-old made a comeback and dismissed MS Dhoni in the over, which helped RCB win the clash.
Yash Dayal shared a clip on his Instagram story in which he dismissed Dhoni and in a part of the video, former India pacer Zaheer Khan was also seen dismissing Dhoni. However, the clip garnered some negative reactions towards Dayal as fans were quite upset with him for sharing the clip.

RCB is hoping for its first IPL title
Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been quite active in the season IPL 2025 Mega Auction. As the franchise entered the event with just three new additions in Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Yash Dayal, it had a sizable budget and also secured several big names at the mega auction.
Players like Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and many other stars were signed by RCB ahead of the new IPL season. The last season of the tournament was a roller coaster ride for RCB; The team had a terrible start to the season, losing their first seven games.
