She stated that the Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) provides additional information about Pakistan's Champions Trophy arrangements and team participation.
Baloch stressed that sporting events should remain separate from political matters.
“Pakistan has always said that sports should not be politicized,” she said.
When asked about Pakistan's plans for the Champions Trophy if India retains its position, she stated that PCB is currently discussing arrangements with the International cricket Council (ICC), including participation of teams.
“We would refer you to the Pakistan cricket Board for any comments or clarifications on this issue,” she said.
The BCCI has informed the ICC that it cannot visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Subsequently, the ICC has sought a response from the PCB regarding the implementation of a hybrid model for hosting the tournament.
Previously, the Asia Cup last year used a hybrid model where India's matches were played in Sri Lanka while other matches were played in Pakistan.
