Major League Baseball split the 2024 playoff roster and it was a massive one. Now in its third year with the current playoff format, set a record with a postseason pool of $129.1 million, absolutely surpassing the 2023 pool of $107.8 million. reports the Associated Press.
The cash pool here consists of 60% of the baseball goals from the first four games of the World Series and the LCS, the first three games of the divisional round and the first two games of the Wild Card Series. The World Series champion receives 36% of the pool to be divided among its players, while the losing World Series team receives 24%. LCS losing teams receive 12% each, Division Series losing teams receive 3.3%, and Wild Card losing teams receive 0.8%.
The Dodgers Allotment of 79 full shares and 17.49 partial shares; Those who got the full share walked away with $477,441 each.
A full share for Yankees Player's total is $354,572.
As for the remaining playoff teams, players who receive a full playoff share will earn:
