Alex Pereira definitely has a lot to be grateful for.
The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion was one of several members of the MMA community who commemorated Thanksgiving on social media Thursday. Pereira entered and exited the octagon three times in 2024 with his gold around his waist, knocking out Khalil Rountree Jr., Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill. You can bet the UFC is grateful for Pereira too, as the Brazilian star has made himself available to headline their pay-per-view shows with less than ideal advance notice.
Other UFC stars also used the day to express their gratitude: Sean O'Malley showed off his unique style of hunter-gathering, Matt Brown fought against the traditional turkey dinner, and Aljamain Sterling tweeted his plans to save a big meal for the weekend after next which he competes at UFC 310.
