After his defeat in the third round against at On Saturday, Miocic announced his retirement from the sport. The two-time UFC heavyweight champion defeated Ngannou in their first meeting in January 2018 and in their rematch In March 2021, Ngannou brutally knocked out Miocic and became champion.
Ngannou sent a message of support and thanks to Miocic on Twitter after the 42-year-old's last fight.
