Welcome to the latest edition of Missed Fists, where we highlight fights from around the world that may have been overlooked in these hectic times when it seems like there's an MMA show on every other day.
We topped last week's Missed Fists with one and while we don't want to make a habit of overly focusing on the more catastrophic moments of martial arts, sometimes we just can't look away.
However, I strongly advise you to look away from this first clip and simply continue with the rest of the feature.
But if it has to be.
(Thanks as always for their weekly leaderboards and submissions, and to for uploading many of the clips you see here. Follow them and join in if you can.)
Galina Maltseva vs. Ekaterina Demina
An MMA World amateur bout in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, between Galina Maltseva and Ekaterina Demina turned into a horror show early in the third round when Demina made the fatal mistake of attempting the post with her arm while being knocked to the ground.
Seriously, you don't even have to watch this clip to know what happened.
Instant snap, instant pain, instant stop. Instant regret.
Let's move on.
Wael Kambouche vs Axel Sormain
Wael Kambouche just pulled off a quick knockout in the semifinals of the 100% Fight Featherweight tournament and is headed to the final in January, where he will face 7-1 Wassim Chaine.
7-0 in the amateurs, now with an overall result, one of the best prospects in the talent factory of France.– Victor (@frontkicked)
Ah, that's much better. A healing knockout punch and some healing follow-up punches.
Featherweight Wael Kambouche continues to shine on the amateur scene, maintaining his undefeated record and 100 percent finish rate. His hands were just way too fast for Axel Sormain, and when he put Sormain in danger, he didn't hesitate to knock him down.

Ginji Arai vs. Yuichi Nakamura
Kambouche has some competition for the most accurate knockout of the week, as Ginji Arai timed that left hand beautifully to flatten Yuichi Nakamura at a DEEP event in Tokyo.
This is simply an exquisite understanding of range, rhythm and execution. Big moment for the 20-year-old.
Szymon Herrmann vs. Kamil Korzeniewski
Not as precise, but no less effective, was Szymon Herrmann, who missed literally every part of this combination except the crucial one.
From Babilon MMA 49:
Correction, Hermann landed a few powerful punches, then hit nothing but the air with three windmill punches and then fired a headbutt that was right on the money. Just like online dating, it is a numbers game.
Marko Bojkovic vs Sahil Siraj
A philosophical question: What happens when a fighter nicknamed “The Skull Crusher” doesn’t want to crush skulls?
This is the dilemma that played out at Fight Nation Championship 20 in Zagreb, Croatia, where Marko Bojkovic (the Menacing One) competed Nomine de Guerre) appeared to have sealed the victory with a slamming left hand.
Marko Bojković (8-0) defeated the Sueco Sahil Siraj (9-4) within a minute of the fight, he had 7 finals and 5 days in the starting lineup, it's a big problem
— Pelunaton (@pelunaton)
Unfortunately for Bojkovic and his opponent Sahil Siraj, referee Franko Kliman did not feel that Siraj's complete weakness and no signs of intelligent defense was enough to decide the fight. And so the skull crushing began.
Bojkovic didn't seem too conflicted about it as he celebrated with a quick jig, but he probably would have been happy not to throw those extra punches. Terrible officiating.
Alexandre Williams vs. Miguel Angel Prado
In Furious FC 5 (free replay available at ), Alexandre Williams gave his best vs. Impress with that suffocating guillotine chokehold.
That means out cold out cold.
Goga Kistauri vs Sane Nithiya
In Graz, Austria, a fight between Goga Kistauri and Sane Nithiya lasted just 25 seconds…
…due to an insane knockout punch from Kistauri.
Hehehehehehehehehe… eh.
Cage Fight Series 16 is available for replay .
Beybulat Isaev vs Damir Russinov
over in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Beybulat Isaev reminded Damir Russinov that martial arts are mixed here, not just boxing.
Isaev looks amused by Russinov's sparring punches and then decides to finish him off with a kick to the head.

Vambert Robby vs. Roberto Oliveira
For a man who just felt like his soul was temporarily leaving his body, Roberto Oliveira actually looked pretty relaxed afterward.
At Soldado Combat 4 in Brasilia, Brazil, Vambert Robby completely struck Roberto Oliveira with a right hand, causing Oliveira's head to hit the mat. At least Oliveira seemed to regain consciousness immediately, but his overall brain situation couldn't have been good there. Let's hope he gets enough rest and recovery.
Nildo Nascimento vs. Fernando Laurenco
Nildo Nascimento jumped to Sao Paulo and became champion of the Standout Fighting Tournament with this incredible knockout of Fernando Laurenco.
Nascimento was the one tipping the scales here at 135 pounds – I mean, just look at the size difference – and his speed made the difference as he connected with a beautiful left hook that knocked Laurenco off his feet. And it was a big decline. The mat probably did half the job there.
Even if Nascimento has to share his titles with an inanimate object, his double champion status remains. Not a bad performance for the 35-year-old Brazilian.
