broke his own knockout record in the main event of BKFC: Los Angeles.
The exciting Bare Knuckle promotion returned to the California hub, and Garrett – who served as a short-term replacement – destroyed the former UFC fighter in just 12 seconds to earn his second promotion victory and secure the fastest knockout in BKFC heavyweight division history.
Check out the finish in the video below.
Garrett returned to the BKFC squared circle three months after his eye-opening debut, where he broke the previous heavyweight knockout record with a 16-second win over John Orr at BKFC: Kansas City in August.
“ Division, you’re up to speed,” Garrett said in his post-fight interview. “Anthony Garrett is in the house. Let's go.”
Garrett, 35, appears to have found his niche after a tough run in the MMA world. He won only six of his 17 fights and was stopped in the first round in eight consecutive mixed martial arts bouts.
Johnson, 47, lost his first bare-knuckle fight.
