Dixon won his last start with Cadillac at Petit Le Mans and has three previous victories at Daytona in 2006, 2015 and 2020; the latter with van der Zande.
Rosenqvist was previously Dixon's IndyCar teammate at Ganassi in 2019-20, before spending three years at Arrow McLaren then joining MSR in 2024. He has raced at Daytona three times, the Swede's most recent two were in LMP2.
Palou was set to take the IndyCar seat vacated by Rosenqvist at Arrow McLaren in 2024, but decided to stay with Ganassi and won his third title.
“It was completely logical for Félix to join us at the 24 Hours,” said the team boss. Michael Shankwhose team won at Daytona in 2012, 2022 and 2023.
“He’s really proven himself in IndyCar and I think he can be a great asset for us in IMSA.”
