3rd quarter report
After a tough away defeat in their last game, the Bulls are looking much better on their home court today. They have some cushion as they currently lead the Hawks 99-84.
If the Bulls keep this up, they will increase their record to 7-10 in no time. On the other hand, the Hawks will have to settle for a 7-10 record unless they turn things around (and quickly).

The Hawks enter the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since November 4th on Wednesday. They suffered a bitter 120-97 loss to the Warriors. Atlanta found itself in a tough spot after the first half, with the score already at 67-42.
Although they lost, the Hawks smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've had since December 2023.
Meanwhile, the Bulls significantly trailed the Bucks on Wednesday, losing 122-106.
The Bulls' loss came despite strong play from Zach LaVine, who was 9-for-15 en route to 27 points along with six assists and five rebounds. LaVine is trending in the right direction considering he has improved his scoring output in three straight games.
Atlanta's loss dropped the record to 7-9. As for Chicago, they have been struggling lately, having lost three of their last four meetings, putting a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
