The Heat and Bucks are evenly matched at 5-5 since February 2023, but not for much longer. The Miami Heat stay at home for one more game, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Heat are the slight favorites, but fans should be in for an exciting game that will likely come down to the wire.
On Sunday, the Heat needed a little more time to put away the Mavericks. They secured a 123-118 W win over Dallas.
Jimmy Butler had a brilliant game for the Heat and almost missed a double-double with 33 points and nine rebounds.
The Bucks had now won three straight (a stretch in which they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 points) and did it for the fourth time on Saturday. They managed a 125-119 win against Charlotte.
The Bucks owe much of their success to Giannis Antetokounmpo, who posted a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds, and Damian Lillard, who scored 31 points. The game was Antetokounmpo's third straight with at least 30 points.
The win brought Miami back to level at 7-7. Milwaukee increased its record to 8-9 with the win, which was its sixth straight home win.
