Mid-term report
The Clippers are on the road, but they don't look any worse for wear. They have some cushion as they currently lead the Wizards 58-44.
If the Clippers keep playing like this, they will increase their record to 12-8 in no time. On the other hand, the Wizards will have to make do with a 2-15 record unless they turn things around (and quickly).

What you should know
The Clippers will play the entire four quarters on Wednesday, but they are expected to have things taken care of long before then. Their road trip continues when they take on the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena at 7:00 p.m. ET. Both teams will be hoping for an upturn after significant defeats in their previous games.
The Clippers likely enter the game with a chip on their shoulder considering the Celtics just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They suffered a painful 126-94 loss to Boston. Los Angeles found itself in a difficult situation after the first half, with the score already at 78-49.
The Clippers' loss came despite a strong game from Ivica Zubac, who posted a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. Zubac is on the rise when it comes to rebounding, as he has grabbed ten or more rebounds in the last seven games he has played.
Given the score, it was perhaps unsurprising that the Clippers struggled to cooperate, finishing the game with just 18 assists. They were dismantled by their opponents in this department as the Celtics scored 33 points.
Meanwhile, the Wizards' recent rough patch got a little more difficult on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss. Against the Bulls they only reluctantly had to accept a punch in the gut with a score of 127:108.
Los Angeles' loss dropped the record to 11-8. As for Washington, the loss dropped its record to 2-14.
In their last game in March, everything went well for the Clippers against the Wizards as the Clippers escaped with a 140-115 win. The rematch could be a little more difficult for the Clippers as the team won't have the home field advantage this time. We'll see if the change of venue makes a difference.
