Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow typically doesn't use profanity in press conferences with the media.
But Burrow made it this week before Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers thanks to a smart ask on No. 1 target Ja'Marr Chase.
Asked how Chase could tell the star quarterback to give him the ball more often, among other things, Burrow said: “There's a lot of different ways a receiver can tell you, 'Get me the (expletive) ball.' “
Burrow, of course, was joking and said that receivers could even ask through the media for more on-field appearances.
How rarely does Burrow swear? A few days later, Chase himself didn't believe it had happened – until reporters showed him the footage shot by CLNS Media's Mike Petraglia:
Ja'Marr Chase watches as Joe Burrow tells the media how to say “Get me the damn ball” in different ways. Priceless.
