Three members of the Rockets were fined on Thursday, the NBA announced in a press release (Twitter link). Head coach I am Udoka was docked in advance for $50,000 Tari Eason was fined $35,000, and center Alperen Sengun received a $15,000 fine.
All three members of the organization were fined incidents That happened on Tuesday when Houston lost by nine points in Sacramento. Udoka and Sengun each received two technical fouls and were sent off with just under two minutes left in the fourth quarter.
According to the league, Udoka was fined for “confronting and using abusive words towards a match official, failing to leave the pitch in a timely manner after being ejected and publicly criticizing the referee during his post-match press conference.”
Sengun was given a lighter fine for “directing inappropriate language towards a match official”.
According to the NBA, Eason was fined for a postgame incident in which he threw a towel and said inappropriate words to a fan in the stands. Sam Amick of The Athletic (Twitter link) is surprised the league didn't mention the fact that Eason tried to enter the stands to confront the heckling fan and had to be held back by security officers.
