The Sixers have agreed to a two-way contract Pete NanceESPN's Tim Bontemps Tweets.
Nance is the younger brother of the veteran NBA forward Larry Nance Jr. Pete Nance played eight games in the G League's Showcase Cup for the Cleveland Charge this season – the Cavaliers Partner. He averages 18.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 blocks.
The 1.90 meter tall Nance also played in the NBA G League last season. He played eight NBA games for the Cavs, but averaged only 3.4 minutes in those games.
Nance attended Cavs camp, but was waived in October. He signed a two-way contract with Cleveland in February, but was not offered another contract. He went undrafted in 2023.
With centers Joel Embiid And Andrew Drummond Since the Sixers had to take a break due to injuries and – in Embiid's case – personal reasons, they looked for another short-term option up front.
