Malcolm Brogdon made his season debut on Sunday against Detroit, but only managed one point in 22 minutes, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post Notes. He was operated on At the beginning of October he had to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb.
Brogdon was the first player to come on as a substitute wizard. The Wizards acquired him in an offseason trade with Portland and he is a candidate to be traded before the February deadline. He is playing on an expiring contract worth $22.5 million.

- Bogdan Bogdanovic And Kobe Bufkin were active for them Hawks on Monday. Bogdanovic hadn't played since October 23rd due to a thigh strain. Bufkin made his season debut after partially dislocating his right shoulder last month.
- Vasilije Micic made just his fifth appearance of the season on Sunday and scored nine points in 14 minutes. Micic's playing time has declined this season LaMelo Ball back in action, but Hornets First year coach Charles Lee praised Micic afterwards. “He can initiate the offense for us. He knows the sets very well. I thought he really brought a lot of energy (Sunday).” Lee said, per Johnny Askounis from Eurohoops.net. “He did a really good job preparing himself, his mind and his body. He is spoken to every day like a true professional, even if he wasn’t on the rotation team.”
- wizard 2023 second-round pick and two-way player Tristan Vukcevic did not play for the Wizards or their G League affiliate Capital City Go-Go. trainer Brian Keefe Shankar said before Sunday's game that Vukcevic needs to improve his conditioning before returning to the pitch. Vukcevic had a standard contract last season, but the team declined his team option and resigned he signed a two-way deal in July.
