Fan voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl games has been open for a week, and despite a lackluster season, a half-dozen Cowboys find themselves in their respective spots on the leaderboard.
The NFL has released a list of the Top 10 voters at each positionand although the Cowboys feature three offensive linemen and three special teams players, there isn't a single member of Mike Zimmer's defense to be found. No, not even Micah Parsons.
Granted, Parsons missed time due to injury, as did a number of stars who made Dallas' Pro Bowl roster last season. Dak Prescott, DaRon Bland, Jake Ferguson and DeMarcus Lawrence were also either selected or named as alternates for the 2024 All-Star event; all have struggled with injuries this season.
This year's Pro Bowl Games will once again be held in Orlando, with multi-day AFC vs. NFC skills competitions culminating in a flag football game on February 2nd. Fans can vote for their favorite players at every position until December. 23 am The NFL's dedicated websiteon each club's official websites and on social media using a special X hashtag.
Here's a look at which Cowboys are currently in the running to earn a Pro Bowl nomination.
Last season's leader in receptions and receiving touchdowns remains near the top of this year's position rankings despite the change at quarterback last month. Lamb is currently tied for second in receptions and fifth in receiving yards. He trails Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Terry McLaurin in Pro Bowl voting.
No wonder, as the speedster's spin-move kick return for a 99-yard touchdown against Washington is sure to end up on the list of top plays of 2024. Turpin has had 21 kick return opportunities this season – the second-most in the league – and leads the NFL in yards per return, but he fears he won't get many chances from here on out. He only had 12 punt returns, including one for a score; He is the only player in the league to have one of each this season.
Aubrey is currently on pace to reach his second Pro Bowl, trailing only Chris Bowell of the AFC's Steelers in votes. However, he may be able to get by on his reputation and long-range bombs for now. Statistically speaking, several NFC kickers have a better field goal percentage than Aubrey.
Sending Zack Martin to the Pro Bowl may feel like an annual formality; He appeared nine times in ten seasons. This year, however, time seems to be catching up with the legend. Three NFC guards — both the Lions' guards and Philadelphia's Landon Dickerson — currently have more votes than Martin, and he's actually ranked 33rd in PFF's position rankings. Tyler Smith had a more impressive season for Dallas if we judge by actual performance rather than reputation.
Luepke's top-10 appearance is somewhat misleading, as there are only nine fullbacks listed on the Pro Bowl ballot at all. Kyle Juszczyk of San Francisco and impressive rookie Carson Steele of Kansas City lead the way. Lüpke was involved in 28% of the offensive snaps in 2024 and recorded 19 touches for a total of 128 yards and a score.
The most anonymous man on the Cowboys roster barely made it into the top 10 of Pro Bowl voting at his position. There are four NFC long snappers ahead of him, so Sieg may still have a great chance of making his first All-Star squad. Still, it's nice to see him being recognized, thanks in large part to the success of his comrade Aubrey.
