Legendary QB Aaron Rodgers makes thoughts on future with Jets clear

Aaron Rodgers refused a that he didn't want to play for the New York Jets in 2025.

Rodgers is in the midst of a tumultuous season with a 3-8 Jets team that is no closer to making the playoffs. They have lost four of their last five games, including a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in October.

Rodgers has 2,442 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. It wasn't the run anyone expected when he first signed with the team, but according to Rodgers, he hasn't indicated he's ready to see it end.

“As far as my future is concerned, I have never told anyone in my life that I want to play in 2025 and not with the Jets,” Rodgers continued on Tuesday. “This is 100 percent wrong. I actually said the opposite. I said I would wait to see what happens at the end of the season.”

Rodgers' future with the Jets organization remains uncertain. Still, he seems at least open to a return to a potentially competitive AFC East division in 2025.
