For some reason no one could explain, the Giants failed to target star rookie wideout Malik Nabers in the first half of last week's loss to Tampa Bay. Nabers finished the game with a strong second half (six balls, 64 yards), but was extremely upset after the game about the losses and the way he was used.

The Giants are crazy to ignore Nabers. In fact, it's a coaching mistake. With those six second-half receptions, Nabers became the first player in NFL history to have at least five receptions and 50 receiving yards in eight of his first nine career games.

Nabers recorded 67 receptions this season, surpassing the Rams' Puka Nacua (64 receptions) for the most receptions by a player in his first nine games in NFL history.

The Giants' turnover differential this season is -6, which isn't terrible, but it's strange how it plays out. They have eight fumble recoveries — fourth-best in the nfl — but just one interception. On Sunday, they set the modern nfl record (since 1933) for most consecutive games in a single season without a defensive interception: 10.
