The New York Giants fell to 2-10 this season with a loss to the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, becoming the first team to be officially eliminated from the playoffs.
Making matters worse, the Giants lost several players to injuries on Thursday, including superstar nose tackle Dexter Lawrence, who suffered an elbow injury and may be out for the season.
The loss wasn't as bad as some others this year, but it certainly wasn't a game to be particularly happy about. It may have prevented Black Friday layoffs, but Black Monday layoffs remain a very real possibility.
