Back in October, before the team's Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants co-owner John Mara expressed his confidence in general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll.
Mara told reporters that he doesn't plan to make any changes during the season didn't expect to fire anyone after its completion.
John Mara said he doesn't expect to make any changes after the season. One of the reasons he's committed to Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll – he still has faith in them. Says he hasn't been patient enough in recent years.

Since then, the Giants have lost three straight games, including a humiliating 20-17 overtime loss to the lowly Carolina Panthers in Munich last Sunday.
Due to their current five-game break, the Giants currently have a date scheduled Select second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. From the regime's perspective, this is a precarious situation, says NFL insider Adam Schefter.
“I don't know that anyone can say anyone is safe in New York,” Schefter said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “I don’t know that anyone can say that anyone is safe when you’re on track to go No. 1 overall in the draft.”
Schefter points out that Mara gave a similar vote of confidence to Ben McAdoo in 2017 before she fired him, and then again with Joe Judge in 2021 before she fired him.
Ultimately, all options are likely to be on the table if the team's ugly season continues.
“I think they're going to look at everything (this offseason) and I think anything is possible,” Schefter said.
The seats are getting warmer and things are getting ugly in East Rutherford. Again.
