New York Giants will start QB Drew Lock in Week 14 vs Saints

Drew Lock will be the center of attention for the New York Giants when they host the New Orleans Saints this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Head coach Brian Daboll made the announcement during his press conference on Wednesday. He said Lock will take all first-team snaps in preparation for Sunday.

Tommy DeVito, who started against Tampa Bay two weeks ago, missed last week's game with a forearm injury. Daboll said he will be either the team's second or third quarterback this week, depending on his health.

Lock started in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day and completed 21 of 32 passes for 178 yards with no touchdowns and one interception that was returned for a touchdown. He also lost a fumble that led to another touchdown.

Lock ran four times for 57 yards and a score and was sacked six times in the game.

DeVito had a similar performance in the Giants' 30-7 Week 12 home loss to the Buccaneers, throwing for 189 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers, for a QB rating of 83.9. He rushed for 32 yards on seven attempts and was sacked four times.

With offensive tackles Jermaine Eluemunor and Evan Neal also injured, Lock may have to play behind a line that dwarfs Chris Hubbard and Joshua Ezeudu.
