The New York Jets (3-8) continue their regular season journey with a matchup at MetLife Stadium against the Seattle Seahawks (6-5).
The whole week, Themes and storylines were discussed leading up to this matchup between two cross-conference opponents. Regardless of what players, coaches, media and fans say, in the end it all comes down to what happens on the NFL field.
And once the battle comes, there are a few special things to watch out for.
So here are five things to watch for during the Jets' season Week 13 Game against the Seahawks:
Playing for pride
While it may seem like this is about quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it affects everyone on the Jets sideline. There are a lot of jobs at stake and after the break everyone is expected to have recovered a bit. So will this team play with pride?
Injury looks
As the bye week rolls around into Week 12, there could be some good news. Will the Jets be healthier in the future?
Some names to keep an eye out for are linebacker CJ Mosley (neck), offensive lineman Tyron Smith (neck), and some injured backups like wideout Allen Lazard (chest) and defensive tackle Leki Fotu (hamstring).
But unfortunately there are also some new additions, or at least one: running back Breece Hall (knee).
Hello, Geno
This is the first time that former Jets quarterback Geno Smith will start in New York as a member of the opposing team. Smith already beat the Jets in Seattle … but he'll be the talk of the town in the coming days.
That being said, his team needs a win to stay atop the NFC West standings.
Will Garrett move on?
It was a bad season in New York… but not for everyone.
wide receiver Garrett Wilson has thrived since the team traded for Davante Adams. If he can continue to produce, Wilson will establish himself as a team worth building on if he finishes the season well.
Others who should have a similar mindset include Hall, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and cornerback Sauce Gardner.
Can they pitch in?
The Jets defense was touted as one of the best in the NFL before the season… but that wasn't the case. Not since interim coach Jeff Ulbrich took over.
Do we see any changes on that side of the ball that could help this unit improve? The offense could use some adjustments, like running the ball more.
