Candid New York Jets Garrett Wilson Were playing like trash

It was a brutal Week 10 for the New York Jets.

When they visited the Arizona Cardinals (6-4) and the Jets (3-7), their season probably came to an end .

As the score shows, it wasn't a close affair. Probably for this reason, wide receiver Garrett Wilson didn't mince his words after the final whistle.

“The energy isn’t there because we play like garbage,” Wilson said. “That’s how I see it.”

quarterback Aaron Rodgers had similar, if toned down, feelings.

“A lot of different emotions,” Rodgers said after the loss. “We didn’t show a lot of energy on either side of the ball. Offensively, you’re not going to beat someone who scores six points.”

The possible reason for the two different tones can probably be due to production.

Rodgers was poor once again in Arizona. The New York quarterback only had 151 yards passing and fumbled the ball once.

Wilson had just 41 yards but caught five passes on six targets. Back to Rodgers, he targeted Davante Adams 13 times and his friend caught just six balls for 31 yards.

That's not to say Wilson is picking on his teammates, but he can't be blamed much for the Jets' problems. That's why he feels confident enough to be open.
