The New York Jets lost to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13 despite some circumstances being on their side.
The Jets (3-9) were the home team against a West Coast opponent. Additionally, New York had a bye the week before, so the Jets had a little more rest that the Seahawks (7-5) didn't have.
Still, Seattle took that after a hot start from the Jets.
The Jets remain focused on New York and this free time and are clearly not taking advantage of such scenarios, according to ESPN.
According to their stats, the Jets have a brutal 4-25 record when considering their entire game since 2016, when Gang Green had “extra rest” before a match, including bye weeks.
Ouch:
So much for extra rest. The Jets are now 4-25 since 2016, with additional rest between games.
