Eagles prove they are NFC heavyweights with 24 19 win over the Ravens

The The Eagles are 10-2and any talk of Nick Sirianni needing to be fired was dismissed after Philadelphia won its eighth straight game by one dominant 24:19 win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Ravens scored a late touchdown to pull within five plays, but the game never really got close as the Eagles took a 14-12 lead and stifled the NFL's top offense, totaling 372 yards on 72 offensive plays.

Baltimore was 6-15 on third downs and failed to convert in the red zone (2-5) despite holding the football for 33:51 of game time. Legendary kicker Justin Tucker was 2-for-4 on the afternoon and missed two field goals from more than 50 yards.

The Ravens had one of the nfl's final bye weeks and looked like a team in need of a refresh and identity on both sides of the football. For the Eagles, Nick Sirianni's team has won eight straight games and they enter Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers playing like one of the best teams in the nfl.
