Saquon Barkley is a really smart player and exceptional businessman, so it should come as no surprise that he negotiated his contract around the tush push and quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Barkley signed a Three-year, $37.8 million contract with the Eagles in free agency with lots of bonuses and incentives. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has more than 50 rushing touchdowns in his career, and thanks to the tush push, the Pro Bowl signal-caller has been known to steal a touchdown or two.
reports that Barkley did a great job negotiating incentives and bonuses that had nothing to do with touchdowns scored.
Out of : RB Saquon Barkley's final score is not affected by the tush push because he has no incentive based on touchdowns. Smart move.

According to NFL Research, Barkley has been tackled at the 1- or 2-yard line 11 times this season, the most in the NFL.
Barkley's contract is designed so that the running back can earn up to $3 million in additional individual and team bonuses for his performance this season.
If Barkley records a combined 1,500 rushing and receiving yards (he's already at 1,347), he'll receive a $250,000 bonus. For a total of 2,000 yards, he receives an additional $250,000. The amount he earns from his mileage bonus would also be added to his salary as an escalator operator in 2025. For Barkley, 2,000 yards would total a million dollars.
For a first-team All-Pro selection, Barkley will receive a bonus of $500,000. A second-team honor or selection to the Pro Bowl would net him $250,000. These incentives would also be added to his base salary in 2025 as an escalator.
Barkley also has up to $500,000 tied to the Eagles' postseason performance.
Wins in the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl would each earn Barkley $250,000. (For this incentive, he must rush for 1,000 yards in the regular season, which he has already done.)
