It didn't matter today, but Washington backup kicker Zane Gonzalez missed two field goals. The good news was that he made all six PATs. However, the Commanders are in the hunt for the playoffs and will play some close games in the future. You can't afford to lose one-score games due to kicking problems. That's not to underestimate Gonzalez, as he was perfect in his first two games for the Commanders. It should not be missed at this time. He kicked two field goals on Sunday. The Commanders are counting on him in Week 15 against the Saints. If he doesn't come through, they'll have to dip into the waiver wire AGAIN for another kick until Austin Seibert comes back. Seibert cannot return until Week 18.
