However, not everyone reacts the same way to perceived snubs when voting for these awards opens. Ahead of the Eagles' final media availability ahead of their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers On Sunday, there was an “All-Pro Comparison” sign hanging on Johnson’s locker, comparing Johnson and Sewell’s stats. It is not known who put it there, but loudly The Philadelphia Inquirer, who spoke briefly with Johnson before leaving, the graphic showed Johnson's dismay at the All-Pro vote.
Here at CBS Sports, we fact-checked Johnson's head-to-head comparison with Sewell and found slightly different numbers for some categories. But overall it was a pretty accurate chart. However, it left out one metric that favored Sewell and that many considered for some Associated Press voters: Pro Football Focus grades. Sewell leads in PFF Offensive Rating (87.5 vs. 85.4) and PFF Run Blocking Rating (90.5 vs. 80.0), although Johnson has a lead in PFF Pass Blocking Rating ahead of Sewell (88.1 vs. 74.1).
