Brandon Stephens has gone from a possible contract extension in training camp to allowing the third-most yards in the NFL at the cornerback position in 10 games played.
Stephens is a natural safety who moved to the cornerback position. On Monday, head coach John Harbaugh was interviewed possible moves in secondary school and Stephens' possible return put in the safety position.
Harbaugh said Brandon Stephens was not an option at safety. He said he had a big job he wanted to get done right now.

Baltimore allows four players with pass ratings below 100 (Roquan Smith, Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins). Marcus Williams has been a disaster this season, allowing a 158.3 passer rating in coverage. Eddie Jackson has struggled while the other two safeties are rookies who are struggling in space.
Marlon Humphrey has talked about a possible move to safety to extend his career and that could be considered.
