At no additional cost, fans will receive a reusable cup – which varies between 9 oz and 9 oz. Wine cups up to 20 oz. Remove domestic draft beer cups from a concession stand and return them to a marked collection container after serving. After the game, custodial and environmental services will collect the cups and Bold Reuse – a woman-owned and global leader in reusable packaging systems – will complete the pickup, cleaning, sanitizing and return process.
The introduction of reusable cups is a continuation of the club's prioritization of sustainability. In recent years, the Bears have implemented other programs such as oil recycling and conversion, water use reduction and materials recycling.
“With the involvement and support of our entire organization, we have implemented numerous successful initiatives on our Halas Hall campus,” said Zack Bero, director of facilities services at Halas Hall. “This pilot is a perfect opportunity to expand our focus on Soldier Field and connect with our fans on game day.”
Premium dining options
Two new premium food and beverage experiences are also coming to United Club in collaboration with Levy Restaurants to offer fans an enhanced matchday experience.
The International Room will be active for the November 10th game against the Patriots, while the City Room will debut on November 17th against the Packers. Passes for both rooms are available now for the remainder of the season at https://www.chicagobears.com/game-day/premium-club-experiences. To purchase the upgrade experience, fans must first hold United Club tickets.
“The Bears are excited to finally bring these elevated spaces to life at the United Club at Soldier Field,” said Brendan Pierce, director of premium seating sales and customer service. “Thanks to Levy’s vision to transform these spaces into exceptional experiences for our premium seat holders, we are able to provide world-class hospitality and create special moments in the traditional game day atmosphere.”
The International Room offers a globally inspired menu that varies for each game and is curated by renowned chefs and sommeliers. Guests can expect a carefully curated wine selection, specialty cocktails and a world-class bar program in an upscale, intimate setting.
The tailored experience is limited to 60 guests and includes premium food and beverages starting two hours before kickoff, during the game and one hour after the game with social hour, full bar snacks and small bites.
The City Room pays homage to Chicago's food culture with a menu that highlights the city's best dishes and an extensive bar program featuring popular mixed drinks, craft beers and wine pairings. The Premium Experience is limited to 80 guests, with the same pre- and post-game timing as the International Room.
