In his 48 games with the Bears, Herbert recorded 1,791 rushing yards on 372 carries and nine touchdowns. Herbert also caught 45 passes for 291 yards and two scores.
Herbert also served as a kick returner for the Bears, primarily as a rookie in 2021, where he returned 27 kicks for 650 yards. This season, Herbert has taken a kickoff and returned it 28 yards.
The Bears now have the following eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft:

The Bears received a 2025 second-round pick in a blockbuster trade with the Panthers. They sent the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 draft to Carolina in exchange for the receiver DJ Moore and four picks that led to the selection of right tackle Darnell WrightCornerback Tyrique Stevensonquarterback Caleb Williams and suitors Tory Taylor.
They moved their 2025 fourth-round pick in a trade with the Bills to move to the fifth round of last year's draft and select the defensive end Austin Booker. They traded their own 2025 sixth-round pick to the Seahawks for defensive end Darrell Taylor in August, but acquired two sixth-round picks last October from the Dolphins for receiver Chase Claypool and in March from the Steelers for quarterback Justin Fields. The Steelers' selection could become a fourth-round pick due to Fields' playing time. They traded the Dolphins' pick to the Browns in August for defensive tackles Chris Williams and a 2025 seventh-round pick.
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT.
